What Newark Airport towing costs: $149 flat, $129 online, and no airport surcharge
The booking fee is published and fixed. This page explains what it covers, what is added for a trip home, what the lot charges on its own, and how to get the full number in a minute.
A Newark Airport tow is the booking fee plus mileage to the address you give
Every tow from the EWR area is a flat $149 booking fee ($129 when booked online) plus a per-mile rate to your destination, quoted on the call, with dollies or winching added only if the car needs them and only after you hear the number.
| What | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Booking fee by phone | $149 | Dispatch and hook-up, any hour |
| Booking fee online | $129 | $20 off when you book it yourself |
| Mileage to your destination | Quoted on the call | Before the truck moves. You pick the shop. |
| Jump start · tire · lockout · fuel | One flat price each | No mileage. Tried first when it can solve it. |
| Winch or dollies | Only if the car will not roll | Named before the work, you decide |
| Night, weekend, holiday, fuel surcharge | None | 3 a.m. costs what 3 p.m. costs |
| Storage or release fee | None | The car goes to your shop, not a yard |
The booking fee: $149 on the phone, $129 online
One fixed amount for sending the truck and hooking up the car, in a P lot, a garage, a hotel lot or a port yard. Booking it yourself online takes $20 off, since it saves the dispatcher a call.
Mileage from the lot to the destination
A per-mile rate from the airport to wherever the car is going. A shop in Elizabeth, Newark or Linden is a short number.
A drive home to Pennsylvania, Connecticut or South Jersey is longer, and the dispatcher says the total, tolls included, before the truck leaves the yard.
Dollies and garage work
Added only when a car will not roll, is parked tight against a pillar, or sits on a garage level a flatbed cannot reach. The dispatcher asks about it on the call and prices it up front.
Charges that never appear
No airport surcharge. No late-night, weekend or holiday fee. No extra charge because the car is a rental or an EV.
No fee for a passenger or luggage in the cab. No storage on a car that went straight to your shop.
Give dispatch the lot, the car and the destination, and you have the exact total.
Get a quote nowBook online · $129Jump starts, lockouts, tires and fuel at Newark Airport: one flat price each
In any EWR lot, a jump start, a car lockout, a spare tire change or a fuel delivery is a single flat price with no mileage, and most of the time you drive out of the lot yourself.
Jump start
The standard airport fix for a battery drained by a week or two in a lot. If the battery will not hold, the tow is quoted right there.
Car lockout
Keys in the car or the trunk with the bags. Damage-free entry, no broken glass, no extra charge for the luggage.
Flat tire change
Your spare goes on in the row. No spare, or a spare that is flat too, and we tow to a tire shop at the normal tow rate.
Fuel delivery
Ran out circling the terminals or idling in the cell phone lot. Enough fuel to reach a station on Routes 1 & 9.
Try the smaller fix first. The dispatcher will say which one fits.
Call (908) 666-3168Every airport serviceParking fees, rental fees and tow fees at Newark Airport are three separate bills
The lot operator charges for the days your car was parked, the rental company handles its own fees, and we charge only the quoted tow or roadside price, so nothing we bill depends on how long you were away.
When a car dies in an airport lot, you still pay the lot at the exit booth or through the app. That fee comes from the lot operator and has nothing to do with the tow. We make sure the car leaves the lot properly so you are not charged twice.
Rental cars are the rental company's property. Some want their own contractor, some ask you to arrange it and claim it back, and a few have their own return rules. Ask the rental desk first, then call us, and the itemized receipt covers your claim.
If you have a roadside plan through insurance or a credit card, you can still call us directly, pay the quoted price and file the receipt. At a busy airport that is often much faster than waiting for a plan to find a contractor.
Ask for the number first. It is free, and it is the same at every hour.

Short answers to what people ask about this page; the dispatcher can answer the rest.
Do you charge more at the airport than in town?
No. The booking fee and mileage rate are the same in an EWR lot as anywhere else we work, at any hour.
Why is the online booking $129 and the phone booking $149?
Booking it yourself saves the dispatcher's time, and you keep the $20. If you are stranded somewhere unsafe, call anyway; the phone is faster.
Do I still pay the parking lot if my car gets towed out?
Yes, the lot charges for the time the car was parked. That fee goes to the lot operator, not to us, and we make sure the car exits properly.
Will you tow a rental car and bill the rental company?
We bill you, the driver, and give an itemized receipt that the rental company or your card issuer can reimburse. Check with the rental desk first, since some require their own contractor.
Is a jump start cheaper than a tow from the lot?
Yes. A jump start is one flat price with no mileage, and it fixes most airport no-starts. If it does not work, the tow is quoted with no second callout.
Do you store cars near the airport?
We do not run a storage lot. The car goes straight to the shop, dealer or driveway you choose.
Anything else? Ask on the call.
